About the Journal

IJELM is an electronic and open access biannual journal that publishes research outcomes relevant to organizational issues in education from a multidisciplinary perspective (management, psychology, pedagogy, history, sociology, politics, economy and law). The journal embraces all theoretical and methodological approaches and encourages both empirical research and theoretical articles on organizational issues, from local and global perspectives. IJELM is designed to provide an international forum for scholars and researchers to exchange and expand knowledge on what works in educational leadership and management in order to improve educational outcomes. The journal particularly promotes the publication of rigorous research that leads to the improvement of educational leadership, management and administration such as: teaching processes, teacher quality, learning and organizational successful outcomes, educational policy, economics of education and organizational learning in education.

Peer Review Policy. All the articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review.

Licence: Until October 5th 2013, Hipatia Press scientific journals were published under Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial-NoDerivative License (CC BY NC ND). Hipatia Press journals decided to change the license and use the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) as recommended by the Budapest Open Access Initiative taking into account its commitment with Open Access.
