This book makes available to society the cutting-edge advances in research led by the University of Cambridge on how people can learn and develop all human dimensions to their full potentials, including cognitive, social and emotional dimensions. The different chapters provide scientific knowledge that is key to clarify which are the interactions and optimal dialogues that are being implemented in classrooms around the world, simultaneously improving academic results, values and feelings. This book’s intention is that the human right to benefit from scientific progress is not denied to any boy or girls. This shouldn’t be a privilege of a few, but a right for everyone. In short, it’s an opportunity to leave discourses based on speculation behind, and move to an education based on evidences, which are proven to promote higher levels of learning and development among students.
