Aprendizaje de las competencias digitales en colectivos vulnerables a través de los Grupos Interactivos

Abstract

A pesar de las mejoras conseguidas en los últimos años por lo que respecta a la alfabetización digital, las personas mayores, con niveles bajos de formación o con bajos ingresos económicos continúan en riesgo de exclusión digital. La falta de habilidades digitales es una de las barreras más importantes en el acceso a Internet (European Comission, 2017). En un contexto en constante transformación tecnológica y digitalización de la vida cotidiana es necesario investigar medidas efectivas para el fomento de la competencia digital especialmente en colectivos vulnerables como las personas desempleadas de larga duración. A partir de un estudio de caso español analizamos los alcances obtenidos en el proyecto europeo DigiUP - Interactive Groups for digital inclusion through intergenerational dialogue (ERASMUS+), cuyo objetivo es aumentar la adquisición de las competencias digitales entre estos grupos vulnerables. Los resultados muestran una mejora sustancial en el marco europeo Europass e incluso con indicadores que han superado la media de los países de la OCDE. Estos descubrimientos refuerzan la importancia de la aplicación de la Actuación Educativa de Éxito (Flecha, 2015) de los Grupos Interactivos, como medida que acelera el aprendizaje en competencias digitales, a la vez que genera un espacio real de solidaridad intergeneracional y envejecimiento activo.
