Journal of Research in Mathematics Education

REDIMAT - Journal of Research in Mathematics Education is an electronic quarterly journal of Hipatia Press that publishes articles in the field of mathematics education with significant contributions to the understanding and improvement of the teaching and learning of mathematics. REDIMAT publishes original empirical and theoretical work, drawing on scientific researches focused in a variety of theoretical and methodological approaches.

REDIMAT emerges from the need to respond to the excessive compartmentalization of scientific knowledge that has traditionally existed in the educational field in Spain and Latin America, and aims to be an international space for disciplined debate and criticism through the presentation of theoretical contributions and evidence to promote educational equity and the improvement of our societies.

Authors do not need to pay any fee to publish in REDIMAT. 

REDIMAT is an updated source of information in mathematics education. REDIMAT is already indexed by Thomson Reuters (Web of Science), ERIHPLUS, DOAJ, ERIC (Educational Research Information Center), Latindex (catalog), Dialnet Plus, Dulcinea, Scirus and Google Scholar.

Peer Review Policy:

All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and blinded refereeing by two anonymous referees.

Until October 5th 2013, Hipatia Press scientific journals were published under Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial-NoDerivative License (CC BY NC ND). Hipatia Press journals decided to change the license and use the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) as recommended by the Budapest Open Access Initiative taking into account its commitment with Open Access.
